The Portfolio Benefit Management framework provides supporting templates and processes to assist areas in managing benefits. The framework has been developed to work in conjunction with both the Project Management Framework and the wider context of decisions around departmental investment in change.
The purpose of the benefits realisation plan is to provide an overview of the benefits to be delivered by the program/ project, and details of the benefits management and reporting activities to be undertaken. The benefits outlined in the plan reflect those signed off in the <name initial business case or project brief, including date>.
If a later change (change request) changes the benefits e.g. change in scope etc. then this section should be updated to reflect that change.
To facilitate reporting of benefits realisation, the benefit module in StrategyDotZero tool has been configured to allow for key components of the Benefit Profile and to record tracking of benefits realisation.
