Product Description
The Business Case captures sufficient information about the change to enable the Enterprise Project Support (EPS) to direct the proposal to the appropriate governance body to assess its attractiveness and determine whether or not a corporate project should be initiated. It is the mechanism through which the EPS ensures that there is sufficient business justification to invest organisational resources in a project.
The Business Case is required for all corporate projects and should capture the project’s value proposition used to secure the Executive endorsement of the proposed option.
If the Concept was shortlisted for Business Case development, then all the information captured in the Concept template gets copied into the Business Case template in StrategyDotZero [SDZ]. In some instances, EPS may request the business area to skip the Concept and go straight to Business Case development.
